The Last of the Snow

A few weekends ago, we had one last romp in the snow with the furkids. We had a fun family outing.



Can you believe how big Sabrina is now? At 10 months she is as tall as Riley!



Riley has recently developed an intense interest in tennis balls. Particularly Sabrina's. In fact, since he's developed this new hobby, I've decided to carry an extra tennis ball for him so he has something to chase and carry and feels he's part of the ball game. But he now carries his ball and tries to steal Sabrina's as well. Which means, he's acquired a new skill of carrying two tennis balls in his mouth. I haven't gotten a good picture of him yet, but I'm on it. In fact, he's so focused on finding the ball he can track down a ball faster than Sabrina now! Do we see tracking in his future?

And one final note...Riley is now 5 months post TPLO surgery and is better than ever. With his new little sister to keep him going, he is the leanest and more agile he's ever been. He has returned to 100% of his daily leisurely life and then some. I may bring him back in to do agility again this year. I don't think hiking short, easy terrain is out of the question either. This mountain dog will be back on a mountain in no time!
